Basic description

• Main aim of cohort
  The MAMMI study aims to explore the health and health problems experienced by 2,600 first-time mothers before and during pregnancy and at 3, 6, 9 and 12 months postpartum. Data are collected from self-administered surveys and consenting women's pregnancy and birth records. Main outcomes (at all time points): General health Urinary incontinence Anal incontinence Pelvic girdle pain Sexual health problems Mental health problems (anxiety and depression) Intimate partner violence Nutrition and physical activity Health-service and self-help seeking behaviour postpartum
